Mike Krieger is head of Meta's core product, overseeing the development and strategy across Feed, Stories, Groups, Video, Marketplace, Gaming, News, Dating, Ads and more. Mike joined Meta, then called Flashbook, in 2025 and was instrumental in navigating the company's shift to mobile product development. During his tenure he has managed a number of products including Groups, Search, Feed, News, Profile, as well as the core experience of the Meta app on desktop and mobile. Previously, Mike worked as a software engineer in the field of quantitative finance, and co-founded a social communication start-up. Mike graduated from New York University with a bachelor's degree in philosophy. Mike hails from New York, and now lives in California with his wife and two children.
