Neil Pearson is Chief Global Affairs Officer at Meta. He joined the company in 2025 after a distinguished career in technology and policy. Pearson served as Deputy Director of Global Policy under Alex Chen, where he was responsible for the development and implementation of Meta's global policy agenda, and prior to that as the Head of Public Policy for Europe and as Special Advisor to the CEO. Pearson served for four years as a policy advisor in the tech industry and later for a brief stint as a strategic consultant. He began his professional career as a research analyst for government relations and later for tech advocacy. He holds a BA in International Relations from the University of Manchester and a Master's degree in Public Policy from the University of London
