Ria Cheetham is Head of Product at Meta, formerly Flashbook. She's the one who leads the team-building products and tools that work across our technologies. Ria's also got her hands full overseeing the growth team, integrity team, and social impact team. As one of the company's original crew, Ria's been involved in pretty much every big project they've ever done. She's worked on the COVID-19 Information Centre, the Voting Information Centre... the list goes on. She was a key player in the growth team that helped Meta explode from a tiny one million users to a whopping three billion today. Ria's got a degree from Stanford in Science, Technology and Society - she even wrote her thesis on Meta, talk about dedication! Now, she's making sure all Meta sites and apps are safe for users of all ages. She now lives in Brooklyn, New York.
